We created SetHero for film producers who share our passion for both efficiency and excellence. For many of us, working in film production is about more than just churning out content… it’s about operating a set that is truly world-class.
In 2012, when our founder Luke started working as a 2nd Assistant Director on film productions, there were no tools to handle communicating schedules and updates to production teams. And sending PDFs and Excel files via massive email chains just was not cutting it. We felt a strong pull to make something different. And so we did.
Today, SetHero is used by excellence-focused film productions around the world, from student shorts to high-budget features. We’ve been on this journey for several years now, but in many ways, we are still in the early days. The way we see it, doing right by our customers will never go out of style and we intend to be around for as long as filmmakers have stories to tell that the world needs to see.
